You will get lots of use out of The Union Street Satchel! Either snap the straps in the middle, or on the sides of bag, for alternate looks. The interior of this satchel features one zipper pocket and one patch pocket. This simple satchel is the perfect size for shopping, as an everyday bag, as an overnight bag and more! I designed this bag while living in my old apartment on Union Street.
Measures 14” wide, 12” high, and 7 ½” deep when straps are snapped in the middle. Measures 19” wide, 12” high, and 7 ½” deep when straps are snapped on the sides.
Union St. Satchel
You can use canvas, denim, cork fabric, or vinyl for the exterior. Quilting cotton can be used for the exterior fabric; however, add 5/8 yard of canvas/duck cloth for stabilizer. You can also use cork fabric or vinyl for the contrast fabric. Quilting cotton can be used for the lining. The bag has a more professional, long-lasting finish if the recommended fabrics are used.
